James E. Thompson, 21, of Witt, died on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, at Hillsboro Area Hospital as a result of an automobile accident in Witt.
A joint funeral service honoring him and his father will be held Saturday, Aug. 7, beginning at 11 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Nokomis. Visitation will be held prior to the services, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is assisting the family.
Mr. Thompson was born Nov. 14, 1999, in Greenville, to John Earl and Billie Jo (Stanley) Thompson.
During his career, he worked in a factory. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Nokomis.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his mother of Witt; and siblings, Michelle Thompson of Litchfield and Jonathon Thompson of Witt.
