James “Jim” Allen Lynch, 72, of Nokomis, died on Monday, April 24, 2023, at his home.
No public services are planned. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is assisting the family.
Mr. Lynch was born Jan. 12, 1951, in Hillsboro, to Robert Merle and Lorene Mae (House) Lynch. He married Janice Marie Brown on May 24, 1969, in Nokomis, and she survives.
He attended Nokomis High School and went on to work at Central Illinois Stone for over 20 years. He later worked as a custodian at Nokomis Community Schools for 20 years before his retirement.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Lynch is survived by his mother of Nokomis; daughter, Julie Marie Lynch of Hillsboro; sisters, Doris (Dale) Mizuer of Blue Mound and Luci Fournier of Nokomis; and brother, Robert (Kim) Lynch of Shelbyville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
