Ivarene Karrick, 90, of Litchfield, died at 8:14 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at her residence.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Litchfield Family Funeral Service with Pastors Darrell Molen and Roy Eller co-officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be next to her husband in Bethel Ridge Cemetery near Atwater.

Mrs. Karrick was born on July 28, 1931, in Palmyra, the only child of the late Ivan and Dorothy (Hagler) Jenkins. She graduated from Palmyra High School and married Glenn Karrick on Jan. 1, 1951, in Girard, and they would have celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary. He preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 2021.

Mrs. Karrick was a homemaker and caregiver throughout her life. She also worked alongside her husband in their auction business. She drove the truck during auctions and took care of the accounting, completed all the sale bills, and was in charge of making sure everything ran smoothly. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Patsy (Kenny) Littrell of Litchfield; five grandchildren,  Randy  Littrell of Raymond, Gina (husband Terry) Riedel of Walker, KS, Gayla (husband Rye) Hart of La Sal, UT, Renae Patton of Grand Junction, CO, and Sara Littrell  (companion Jory Whittington) of Kingman, IN; 12 great-grandchildren, Jacy (husband Trent) Klaus, Casey Littrell, Parker (companion Piper Guy), Layton, Kinsey, and Jarret Riedel, Austin, Shaelyn, and Rance Hart, Trenton Boaden (companion Rowdee Sanders) and Jordan Ramey; and three great-great-grandchildren, Annee Jo Boaden, Ace Boaden and Renlyn Reidel.
