Iola (Hawley) Schroedel, 95, of Coffeen, died on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at her home.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Schroedel was the daughter of Lawrence and Bonnie Hawley. She married Robert Schroedel, and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Schroedel was originally from Hillsboro and spent most of her life in Coffeen.
Mrs. Schroedel is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Denning; three daughters, Dorothy Yingling, Helen (Brad) Davis and Dee (Greg) Neisler; multiple grandchildren, Kylie Neisler, Mallory Jablonski, Ryan Helm, Samantha Helm, Amanda Helm, Brandon Davis, Blake Davis, Brooke Davis, Joshua Yingling, Heather Gerhardt, Joshua White, Michaela Williams and William Schroedel; as well as 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Warren; grandson, Brett Zucco; and eleven brothers and sisters.
