Hillsboro Police Arrest Two Sunday

A Hillsboro man and woman both face drug charges after a routine traffic stop on Sunday, Nov. 15, in Hillsboro.

James A. Milanos, 52, of Hillsboro, who according to the Hillsboro Police Department is currently on parole for previous meth charges, faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.  A passenger in the vehicle, Melissa R. Parshall, 38, of Hillsboro, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and later at the jail charged for allegedly bringing a hypodermic syringe into a penal institution.

According to Hillsboro Police Chief Randy Leetham, a vehicle driven by Milanos was stopped on Wood Street in Hillsboro at 2:30 p.m. Sunday for no registration plates.  During the stop, police discovered what they believe to be a large amount of suspected meth, scales and cash in the vehicle, and Parshall had a baggie of suspected meth between her feet.

Both suspects were taken to Montgomery County Jail.
