Goldie Mae Eckhoff, 91, died on Monday, June 22, 2026 at her home in Mt. Olive.
Funeral service was held on Friday, June 26, officiated by Pastor Kevin Simburger. Interment took place at Cedar Ridge Cemetery on Honey Bend Avenue in Litchfield.
Mrs. Eckhoff was born on May 26, 1935, to Charles and Bessie Margaret (Scott) Clark. She attended Litchfield schools and graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1953. She married Edwin Eckhoff on June 7, 1953, and he survives.
She was a mother and a homemaker. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and family gatherings.
Mrs. Eckhoff is survived by two sons, Glenn Eckhoff and Randall Eckhoff; three daughters, Carla (Paul) Russell, Connie Mayfield and Diane Fyalka; nine grandchildren, Shannon (Devika) Mayfied, Jenny (Josh) Bitzer, Shane (Erin) Eckhoff, Brandon (Brittany) Eckhoff, Michelle (Tim) Mayfield, Sarah (Justin) Tomlinson, Jay Fyalka, Audrey (Fred) Fyalka and Blake (James) Eckhoff; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; sisters; and one great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Eva Tomlinson.
