George Thomas White, 72, of Litchfield, died on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.
Mr. White was born July 19, 1949, in Hillsboro, to Luther and Freda (Brewer) White.
He graduated from Hillsboro High School.
During his career, Mr. White spent several years working as an over-the-road truck driver and eventually started hauling trailers for Midwest Trailer Sales.
He is survived by his children, Matthew White of Louisiana, Sarah Gomez of Litchfield and Thomas White of Farmersville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, David White of Hillsboro, Ray White of Coffeen, Tim White of Irving, Jeff White of Florida, Jane Randall of Litchfield and Ruth Jernigan of Alabama.
Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Norman White, Ronny White, Alan White and Bill White; and sisters, Shirley McGill, Nelda Stratton and Patricia Lynch.
