Gail Jean Bowman, 86, of Hillsboro, died on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore. Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia is assisting the family.
Mrs. Bowman was born April 16, 1936, in Fillmore, to Joseph S. and Nora Alice (Lynch) Donaldson. She married Ronald R. Bowman on Feb. 26, 1977, in Las Vegas, NV, and he survives.
During her career, she served as a bank officer at Montgomery County National Bank for 27 years. She was affiliated with the Methodist faith.
In addition to her husband of Alamosa, CO, Mrs. Bowman is survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Donaldson of Litchfield; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald L. Donaldson; and nephew, Wesley Donaldson.
