Five Loaves not-for-profit and food pantry would like to remind the public that they are open every week offering free food for local communities. Every Thursday at Fillmore Village Hall, located at 102 N. Cleveland, across from the park, is the pantry’s Walmart haul consisting of fresh produce, meat, dairy, bakery and various grocery goods.
At the pantry, located at 116 S. Main, one can make an appointment if they are unable to come the second Tuesday of the month from 5 to 6 p.m. or the third Saturday of each month from 9 to 10 a.m.
The food pantry has been offering the service since October of 2023 and encourages those in need to let them help. Five Loaves may be reached at 217-606-2924 and followed on Facebook.
