Evelyn Felicia Darlene Nance, 35, of Virden, died at 1:43 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Services are being planned for a later date. Hough Funeral Home in Farmersville is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ms. Nance was born on Aug. 13, 1986, in Springfield, to Samuel and Wanda Mercer Nance. She married Joseph Releford on Sept. 27, 2006, and they later divorced. Ms. Nance worked as a cashier attendant at Jack Flash in Farmersville.
Ms. Nance is survived by her children, Arionna Releford, Joseph Releford and Gabriella Releford, all of Jacksonville; stepfather, Terry Parkison of Virden; siblings, Brad Mercer of Carlinville, Vanessa Nance of Harvel, James Nance of Virden, Victoria Parkison of Virden, Rebecca Jacobs of Sawyerville, Terry Parkison of Kansas, Chuck Parkison; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kendra Parkison; and a nephew.
