Ethel Louise Stewart, 94, of Mulberry Grove, died Sunday, June 27, 2021, at home surrounded by family.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 30, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Coffeen. The family will hold a private burial at a later date. Young Funeral Home in Greenville is assisting the family.
Mrs. Stewart was born April 1, 1927, at home in Coffeen, the daughter of Cleveland and Iola Belle (Crites) White. She married the love of her life, Floyd Thomas Stewart on Oct. 19, 1945, in Coffeen, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2001.
She is survived by four sons, Earl (Cheryl) Stewart, Dean (Sandy) Stewart, Dennis (Mary) Stewart and David Stewart, all of Mulberry Grove; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband of 55 years, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Julia Stewart Gannon; and nine brothers, Cleveland White (infant), Charles Woodrow White, Wilbur Woodford White, Kenneth White, William Delmar White, Dallas White, Donald White, Ivy Joseph White and Elmer White.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
