Estella Marie Micenheimer, 93, of Coffeen, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro.
Visitation will be Monday, May 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Toberman Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen. Funeral service for Marie will be held at Toberman Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen on Tuesday, May 5, at 10 a.m. Pastor Ryan Thiele will preside. Interment will be at Olive Hill Cemetery in Coffeen. Memorials may be made to the Coffeen Fire Department or the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church of Coffeen.
She was born February 12, 1933, in Coffeen, a daughter of Ferdinand and Inez (Schraut) Huber.
Mrs. Micenheimer graduated with the Coffeen High School Class of 1951. She and Merrill Micenheimer were married on June 12, 1955, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Coffeen. She worked as a bookkeeper for both Coffeen National Bank in Coffeen & Security Savings Bank in Hillsboro.
Marie was devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening, golf, and vacations.
She survived by her daughter, Jodi Ulrici of Coffeen; delete grandchildren, Kayla (Adam) Fath of Hillsboro and Savannah (Trey) McNary of Vandalia; great-grandchildren Rylee, Ava, Harper and Drake Fath, Bexlee McNary and baby McNary, who is on the way. She is also survived by her brother, Dean (Phyllis) Huber of Coffeen; three sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband. Merrill; daughter, Cheryl Petray; son, Ronald Micenheimer; sister, Doris Pickel; and brothers, Wayne, Dwight, Ramon and Ferdinand “Fritz” Huber.
