Doris Marie Donaldson, 98, of Gillespie, died on Wednesday, May 6, at Gillespie Health and Rehab Center.
Visitation will be Friday, May 15 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. at Kravanya Funeral Home.
Mrs. Donaldson was born on April 28, 1928, in Woodburn to Orville and Celia Dillon Kelly. She married Albert “Muzzy” Donaldson on June 30, 1951, in Gillespie.
Mrs. Donaldson retired after having been a kitchen supervisory for Community Unit School District 7 and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Gillespie. She was an avid Cardinals and Miners fan. She was also a proud parent, grandparent and great-grandparent.
Mrs. Donaldson is survived by her son, William “Kenny” (Judy) Donaldson of Annapolis, MO; grandchildren, John Allan (Margo) Miller, Jeremiah (Rusti) Miller, Kevin (Hannah) Kozemczak; great-grandchildren, Chase Miller, Tristan Miller, Grace Miller, Brody Miller, Michael Kozemczak, Madison Kozemczak; great-great-grandchild, Nash Miller; and siblings, Freida Malloy, Marjorie Taylor, Joe Kelly and Jim Kelly.
Mrs. Donaldson was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; son, James Donaldson; and siblings, Arlene Griva, Ellen Clemonds, Edna Audi, Betty Heck, Mary Lou Jubelt, John Kelly, Orville Kelly, Jr. and Bill Kelly.
