Donna R. (Miller) Roach, 87, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab.

Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro with the Rev. Randy Sands officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro. Visitation will be Friday, Jan 21, 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roach was born in Nokomis on Dec. 23, 1934, to Albert and Rose (Hueschen) Miller. She was a graduate of Nokomis High School and worked for 42 years at Hillsboro Glass Factory. She was a past member of the Hillsboro Moose and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed entertaining and was well known for playing her organ at many local places including nursing homes, the Moose Club, and at her class reunions.

She is survived by two sons, Greg Kessler of Hillsboro and Gary (Paula) Roach of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Emma Hughes, Danielle Ulhry, Amanda King, Eric Kessler and Austin Roach; great-grandchildren, Braidyn Ulhry, Izabella Ulhry, Johanna King, KehLahni Clark, Ethan King, Robert Sherman and Chatham Kessler; and a sister, Irma Waddington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Elmer Kessler and Henry Roach, and her longtime companion, Don Clausen; a son, Donald in infancy; and one brother, Ivan Miller.
