Dolores Helen Flowers, 94, of Hillsboro, died at 9:47 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, at home.
No services are planned. Hough-Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Mrs. Flowers was born Feb. 13, 1931, in Springfield, a daughter of Anna Malony. She graduated from Springfield High School and completed two years of college.
She married Clifton E. Flowers in September of 1968, in Springfield, and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Flowers was a member of the First Baptist Church of Taylor Springs and was employed by Doctors Hospital and The Haven, both in Springfield. She enjoyed fishing, reading, and crossword puzzles. She was a good cook and enjoyed traveling and visiting Mississippi.
Mrs. Flowers is survived by her son, Michael (Deana) Flowers of Hillsboro; daughters, Dawn (Brian) Spinner of Wiggins, MS, and Debra (Randy) Jones of Schram City; grandchildren, Kenneth “Rugrat” Guerrero, Nathan Spinner, Kaitlyn Spinner, and Mathew Spinner; step-grandchildren, Sheridan Giller, Dillon Giller, and Jenna Lawson; and great-grandchild, Elizabeth (Jenna) Flowers.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, infant Clifton E. Flowers, Jr., and Donald E. Flowers; and two daughters, Heather J. Flowers and Donna Millis.
