Darlene Conlee, 74, of Gillespie, died at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Burial was at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Carlinville. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Conlee was born on Aug. 23, 1948, in Litchfield, to Edward and Geneva (Wilkerson) Price. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family,shopping and dancing.
Mrs. Conlee is survived by her sons, Roy (fiancée Jean) Conlee of Benld, Charles (Melissa) Conlee of Caulfield, MO, and Timothy Conlee of Mulberry; brothers, William Price, Edward Price and Milo Price; sisters, Judy Conlee and Terri Cook; 15 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and spouse.
