It was another round and another win for Case Cruthis in the Crossroads Cross Country Series as the young Panama motorcyle racer took first at Ridge Run in Bloomfield, IN, on Aug. 14.
Cruthis ran a time of 51:58 for six laps, the only rider in the Four-Stroke class in the intermediate division to complete that many circuits around the course.
The win was Cruthis’ fourth in six races at Crossroads, after missing the opening race of the year. Despite the gap, the youngster has climbed into a tie for second with Addie Tuttle with 116 points apiece, nine behind Auburn Boyer for the top spot in the Four-Stroke class.
Case’s cousin, Gideon Cruthis, is currently eighth in the Four-Stroke class with 81 points, seven points behind Lincoln Blankenship for seventh. Gideon finished 11th at Ridge Run, completing three laps in 55:21.
Overall, Case Cruthis finished fourth in Intermediate Bikes, while Gideon Cruthis finished 16th.
With four races left on the schedule, the next Crossroads Series race will be on Sept. 11-12, at the Bulldog in Monrovia, IN.
