Cruthis Boys Score Big At Crossroads

Posted

Cousins Case and Gideon Cruthis made two trips to Indiana in September for the Crossroads Racing Series and scored quite a few points in the process.

The pair would finish third and 11th respectively in the 4-stroke class, with Case running nine laps in 48:50 and Gideon running six laps in 48:13. Overall, Case Cruthis finished 13th among intermediate riders, while Gideon Cruthis was 23rd.

Round nine of the series was even better for the cousins as they hit the road for Tunnel Valley in English, IN, on Sept. 25-26.

Case Cruthis took first overall in the 4-stroke class, running seven laps in 51:18, which was good enough for ninth overall as well in the intermediate division. Gideon Cruthis finished ninth in the 4-stroke class and 18th overall, running three laps in 50:58.

In the overall points, both riders continue to creep up on the competition. Case is currently second, just seven points behind Auburn Boyer for first, despite missing the first race of the year, while Gideon is currently eighth, 13 points behind seventh place Lincoln Blankenship.

Two rounds remain on the 2021 Crossroads Racing Series Schedule, the first of which is Oct. 16-17, at Corbin Farms in Solsberry, IN.
