Carole C. Stauder, 89, of Nokomis, died at 7:03 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, at Pana Health and Rehab Center in Pana.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis and then on Saturday, Feb. 28, one hour prior to the Funeral Mass that will start at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis with Father Michael Meinhart officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Nokomis.

Mrs. Stauder was born on June 30, 1936, in Nokomis, the daughter of Louie “Red” and Blanche (Sanders) Cearlock. She married Donald E. Stauder on Aug. 18, 1956, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis and he preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 2015.

Mrs. Stauder was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and CCW. She loved to watch her children and grandchildren play sports. She also enjoyed holiday decorating, especially Christmas, watching John Wayne movies and reading.

Mrs. Stauder is survived by her son, Scott (Nicole) Stauder of Nokomis and daughters, Marla (Paul Jr.) Marley of Oconee, Glenda Decker of Nokomis and Sheila (Marc) Gilpin of Marietta, GA; five grandchildren, Kayla (Kamden) Ransdell, Kristen and Mason Stauder and Reagan and Austin Gilpin; seven bonus grandchildren; 12 bonus great-grandchildren; and one bonus great-great-granddaughter; sister, Gayla (Jimmie) Coss of Nokomis; several nieces and nephews that include Tyson Coss, Brianna Coss, Bill Clotfelter, David (Fon) Clotfelter and Donna (Tom) Spellissy; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son-in-law, Richard Decker.
