Beverley Beatrice Davis, 83, of Coffeen, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2021 at 9:20 p.m., at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsboro.

Private graveside services will be held at Wares Grove Cemetery in Butler. The Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, will officiate. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Davis was born Oct. 2, 1938 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Ralph and Fern (Dorr) Bowman. She married Donald Davis on Oct. 19, 1958 at Wares Grove Lutheran Church in Butler.

She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and worked as an assistant for medical bills at Diamond Club Insurance. She was a member of Wares Grove Lutheran Church in Butler, the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, and the Senior Citizen’s Group of Coffeen. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Donald; children Terri (husband Don) Satterlee, Jr. of Marine, Jayne (husband Alan) Crews of Glen Carbon, Stephen (wife Crista) Davis of Pierron, and Michael (wife Billie) Davis of Fillmore; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister Helen (husband James) Brinkman of Hillsboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Edith Gurtner, Alice Williams, Joyce Dickerson, Mildred Shelton and Hazel Redman; and brother Dale “Keith” Bowman.
