Beatrice (Claybrook) McCrary of Cape Coral, FL, age 81, died at Lakewood Ranch Hospital in Sarasota, FL on Aug. 31, 2021.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Oct. 2 at 11 a.m. at the St. James Baptist church in Hillsboro with the Rev. James Hayes officiating. Visitation will also be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery in Hillsboro. Hough & Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
She was born Oct. 6, 1939 in Hillsboro to Frank and Sarah (Hayes) Claybrook, the third born of 12 children. She grew up and went to school in Hillsboro and later moved to Springfield. She married Bobby McCrary and they had five children together. There she lived and raised her children until 2012, then moved to Carp Coral, FL.
She loved to travel and visiting her family, including many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her children Michael McCrary, Preston McCrary, Carla (McCrary) Langley, Bobby McCrary Jr., and Kevin McCrary. She is also survived by siblings Billie Green, Mary LeeTerry Claybrook, Shela Macon, Paulette Stark and Michael Claybrook.
