Angela K. Snow, 57, of Taylorville, formerly of Nokomis, died at 2:05 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 25 at 10 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with the Rev. Brian Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
Mrs. Snow was born on Aug. 9, 1966, in Taylorville, the daughter of Michael Dennis Nation Sr. and Kathy (Eson) Galvin. She was a graduate of the Taylorville High School class of 1984 and she worked at Horace Mann for 31 years and the State Board of Education for six years.
Mrs. Snow is survived by her mother, Kathy Galvin of Taylorville; daughter Amanda (Ricky) Hernandez of Rochester and son Brandon (Haley) Snow of East Alton; grandchildren Eva Elaine Hernandez, Adeline Elise Snow and Ayden Lee Snow; aunts and uncles Julie Eson, Edna Eson, David Eson, Paul Morgan and Shirley Sams, all of Taylorville; sister-in-law Maggie Ornberg; nephew Brady Nation; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Dennis Nation Sr.; grandmother Carol June Eson; son Tyler Sheridan Snow; brother Michael Dennis Nation Jr.; and uncle Gary Sams.
