Steve B. Worker, 65, of Litchfield, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
Visitation will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11. Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Rudy Elam officiating at Litchfield Family Funeral Service. Burial will take place in the Kirkland Cemetery in rural Sorento.
Mr. Worker was born on Jan. 29, 1958, to Louis and Myrna (Hemken) Worker in Hillsboro. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1976 and worked at Nevco Scoreboard in Greenville as a welder and laborer. Later, he was employed at Echlin in Litchfield for over 12 years. He was an avid deer and turkey hunter and loved John Deere and Chevy cars and trucks.
Mr. Worker is survived by two brothers, Brian K. (Elaine) Worker of Vandalia and Michael S. (Dena) Worker of Pawnee; two sisters, Gayle E. (Kenny) Stevenson of Greenville and Kim M. (fiancee, Tim Hosto) Hancock of Sorento; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny L. Worker.
