Ronald Lee Gilbert, 52, of Litchfield, died on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at his residence.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 21, at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services followed at at the funeral home with Danny Gorsage officiating.
Mr. Gilbert was born on Nov. 28, 1970, in Litchfield, to Homer Eugene and Helen (Cravens) Gilbert. He was a 1989 graduate of Gillespie High School. Mr. Gilbert was a member of All Nations Worship Center in Litchfield. He loved WWF wrestling, hunting and fishing, football, karaoke and western movies.
Mr. Gilbert is survived by his companion, Mollie Miller; two sons, Isiah Love of Texas and Derrick Seago of Rockford; three grandchildren; one brother, Delbert (Linda) Smith of Litchfield; and two sisters, Donna (Rick) McDonald of Litchfield and Christina (Tim) Love of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gilbert Smith; one sister, Bernice Smith; and one nephew, Master Sargent William Crays.
