Mary L. Jarman, 90, of Alhambra, formerly of rural New Douglas, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at Hitz Memorial Home in Alhambra.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Douglas. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Zachary Lysdahl officiating. Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jarman was born Oct. 13, 1928, in Litchfield, the daughter of Louis H. and Hulda L. (Oltmann) Rosenthal. She married Kenneth "Dave" Jarman on Jan. 13, 1950, in Pocahontas, AR, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 2008.
She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Douglas.
Mrs. Jarman is survived by her two sons, Louis (wife Loriane) Jarman of Edwardsville and Leonard (wife Tracy) Jarman of Peoria, AZ; one daughter Myra (husband Steve) Huch of East Alton; four grandchildren, Mark (Jenna) Zenner, Stacy Jarman, Nicole Jarman and Brian Jarman; four great-grandchildren, Joseph and Milli Carter, and Ryan and Jason Zenner; three stepgrandchildren, Heather Raulerson, Theresa Housman and Cynthia (husband Justin) Williams; four stepgreat-grandchildren, Kayla Raulerson, Alex Housman, Madison Schley and Aiden Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, LeRoy Rosenthal and Donald Rosenthal.
