Jeffrey Michael Reim, 48, of Springfield, died at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at his home.
Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 1345 N. 6th St. in Springfield, with the Rev. Manuel P. Cuizon, PhD, officiating. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery.
Butler Funeral Home in Springfield assisted with arrangements.
Mr. Reim was born on August 15, 1975, in Springfield, to the late Albert Lee and Joan Marie Siebert Reim. He married Rosa Lauryn Gallina on Nov. 6, 2015, in Las Vegas, NV.
Mr. Reim graduated from Sacred Heart Griffin in 1994 and earned his associate degree from Springfield College. He would then go on to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Springfield.He was previously employed as an arborist for the City of Springfield and he had recently accepted a position with IDOT.
Mr. Reim was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed basketball and played basketball while in high school and at Springfield College.
Mr. Reim is survived by his wife, Rosa L. Reim, of Springfield; and siblings, William (Yvonne) Reim of Farmersville, David (Amy) Reim of Springfield, Richard (Kasey) Reim of Springfield and Barbara (Eldon) Davis of Middletown.
Mr. Reim was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Albert L. Reim; and sister, Susan Reim.
