Mrs. Stout was born on Sept. 18, 1947, in Florid, the daughter of the late Delbert and Lorraine M. (Camdon) Davis. She married Robert Stout on May 19, 1966, in Plano and he preceded her in death.
Throughout her life, Mrs. Stout found joy in simple pleasures and dedicated herself to serving others. An accomplished seamstress, she poured her talent into quilting and sewing, creating beautiful pieces that brought comfort and warmth to many. Her compassionate heart led her to volunteer extensively within her church, where she shared her skills by teaching the ladies of Mount Carmel Baptist Church how to sew dresses for missionary missions. Janet’s generosity knew no bounds as she also played a vital role in organizing Christmas shoeboxes for children overseas, spreading joy and love during the holiday season.
Later in life, Mrs. Stout embarked on a new chapter, moving to Hawaii with her son and son-in-law, Luke and Patrick. There, she continued her mission of service as a Deacon at EWA Community Church, touching the lives of the congregation with her unwavering faith and devotion.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Roxanne) Stout of Squires, MO, William (Kristi) Stout of Grand Ridge and Lucas “Luke” (Patrick) Stout of Clearwater, FL; a brother, Leroy Davis of Princeton; grandchildren, Richard R. Stout, Robert R. Stout, III, Samuel Stout, Rachel (Austin) Moran and Dan Stout; along with one great-grandchild.
Along with her husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gerald, John, Larry and Garry Davis; and sisters, Mary Lou Harms and Gloria Cook.
