Gerald George Davis, 76, of Phelan, CA, formerly of Litchfield, died at 8:38 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, in Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield with the Rev. Rudy Elam of Walshville Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Davis was born in Litchfield on Aug. 28, 1942, a son of Stanley Otto and Irene Elizabeth (Kunz) Davis. He graduated Litchfield Community High School, was a veteran with the U.S. Navy during peacetime, and was employed as a truck driver.
He is survived by two daughters, Tanja (William) Kearns of Yuba City, CA, and Tina (Greg) Hessong of Yuba City, CA; two brothers, Wayne Davis (companion Kathy Shaw) of Litchfield and John Davis of Oklahoma; a sister, Verna Brown of Chesterfield; two grandchildren, Kristina (Kevin) Sanke and Hannah Hessong; and one great-granddaughter, Sophia Sanke.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Russell Davis; and two sisters in infancy, Rena and Rolene.
