Eula V. Tate, 83, of Vandalia, formerly of Fillmore and Herrick, died on Saturday, March 2, 2019, in her home.

Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore with   Pastor Tracy Zimmerman officiating.  Family and friends may gather from 10:30-11 a.m. Wednesday at the cemetery. Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Tate was born on June 27, 1935, in Bingham, the daughter of Everett Craig and Elizabeth Evelyn (Harris) Casey.  She married Monte Ray Tate Oct. 19, 1955, in Fillmore, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 2002. 

She was a homemaker and attended the Family Worship Center in Vandalia.

She is survived by sons, Russ (Cathy) Tate and  Kim (Vicki) Tate, all of Herrick; grandchildren, Marcy (Jason) Bolland of South Bend, IN, Jennifer (Nate) Gipson of Decatur, and Michael (Erica) Tate of Herrick; great-grandchildren, Jillian and Carson Kidd, Levi, Blake and Mark Tate.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Venita Carroll; a brother, Carson Casey; and a nephew, Dale Carroll
