Debra Kay (Kahl) Green, 65 of Raymond, formerly of Hillsboro and Litchfield,died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023 at 7:14 a.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Graveside service will be held Monday, Oct. 16, at 3 p.m. at the Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield with Kevin Tenpenny officiating. There will be no visitation. Plummer Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Green was born Aug. 28, 1958 in Litchfield to Henry John and Estell Rose (Crocks) Kahl. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. She married Gary Lee Denney and they later divorced.
Mrs. Green worked various jobs including Echlin Manufacturing, Midwest Target and Addus HomeCare as well as in housekeeping and babysitting.
Mrs. Green is survived by son, Kyle Denney of Raymond; brother Ron Kahl of Hillsboro; niece, Michelle (Kevin) Tenpenny of Ramsey; nephew, Ron (Jennifer) Kahl, Jr. of Gainesville, MO and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
