Dawn Michelle Durbin, 49, of Nokomis, died on Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Nursing in Hillsboro.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hough and Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Durbin was born in Riverside, CA, on Dec. 13, 1974, to Melvin and Diana (Eggihman) Durbin. She married Robbie Mays of Irving, and he survives.
She worked at FAYCO in Hillsboro, and enjoyed collecting lots of frogs.
Mrs. Durbin is survived by her husband, Robbie; father, Melvin Durbin of Nokomis; and brothers Randy Durbin of Nokomis and Christopher Durbin of Shelbyville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Diana; grandparents Floyd Durbin and Bill and Birtie Eggihman; adopted grandmother Carolyn Bandy; niece Darlene Robinson; and Uncle Don Durbin and Aunt Ella Durbin.
