Brooke Naylor, 20, of Carmi died on March 8, 2019.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in White County Memorial Garden in Carmi.
She was born March 11, 1998, in Evansville, IN, the daughter of David M. and Karla B. (Roser) Naylor of Carmi.
Naylor graduated as valedictorian from Carmi White County High School in 2016, where she was a member of the tennis team. She earned her associate's degree in 2018 from Southeastern Illinois College.
Naylor worked as a waitress at Morello's Restaurant and Catering in Harrisburg. To share in her love for animals, especially dogs and cats, Naylor had previously worked for the Carmi Veterinary Clinic.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandparents, Lowell and Sue Roser of Carmi; paternal grandparents, Ron Naylor of Carmi and Butch and Mary Stallings of Carmi; aunts and uncles, Kent and Shannon Roser of Carmi, Kyle and Nikki Roser of Enfield, Van and Carol Naylor of Hillsboro and Stephanie and Andy Higgins of Evansville, IN; a step-uncle and aunt, Michael and April Stallings of Calgary, Alberta; and cousins, Tanner (Morganne), Walker, Kilee and Kole Roser, Brent (Val) and Michael Naylor, Ian, Evan, Anna, and Addison Higgins and Owen Stallings.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Pet's At Risk to assist with the development of the Dog Park at Burrell's Woods, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
