Walter Eric Cunny, 74, of Spring Grove died Jan. 21, 2022 at Warren Barr North Shore in Highland Park.
A memorial visitation and service for Mr. Cunny will be held at New Life Pentecostal Church in Harvard, at a future date in the spring.
Mr. Cunny was born on June 15, 1947, in Sycamore to Walter F. and Mary Margaret Olson Cunny. On Aug. 2, 2003, he married the love of his life, Sandra (Atlee) Cunny in Grand River, KY.Mr. Cunny attended New Life Pentecostal Church in Harvard. His employment history consisted of working as an engineer for his family's manufacturing company, Falls Products in Genoa. His passion in life was collecting and driving antique automobiles. He was a member of the Classic Car Club of America.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Sean Cunny, Patrick Cunny, Treyson Cunny, Shanatt Holsinger of Butler and Scott Rempfer of Stillman Valley; his grandchildren, Johan Holsinger and Abigail Holsinger; and a sister, Mary Ann Garrett of West Chester, OH.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter F. Cunny and Mary Margaret Cunny.
