It was another productive trip to the Show Me State for the Walker family as the Morrisonville off-road motorcycle racers competed in the Hillbilly Grand Prix stop at Loaiza Dairy Farm in Westphalia, MO, on Dec. 13.
Jhak Walker would take his second straight win in the B Junior division, stopping the clock at 1:35:28. Not only did Walker pick up win number two by more than five minutes over second place James Jenkins, but he also posted the fastest time in each of the three laps. Overall, Walker was 41st in the PM Bikes.
After finishing second in the Hillbilly Grand Prix stop on Nov. 29, Jhenner Walker upped his finish with a win in the PeeWee 8-and-under A division. Posting the fastest lap for laps three through 12 of the 12 lap feature, Walker ran a time of 29:42 to pick up the win. Not only did he win his class, but the young racer was also first overall in the PeeWee 8-and-under division out of 31 racers.
Jhadyn Walker would finish eighth overall in the Pro class, which drew 20 competitors. Walker would clock in at 1:50:12 for the four-lap race, nine minutes behind winner Travis Reynaud of Strafford, MO.
In addition to the Walkers, Rylan Wise of Carlinville finished first in the PeeWee Pro B class and seventh in PeeWee Pro overall, while younger brother Dawson Wise was 11th and 27th in the same class and overall. Colt Rosentreter, also of Carlinville, was fourth in the PeeWee 8-and-under A class and over all for the age group.
Weather permitting, the next round of the Hillbilly Grand Prix will be on Sunday, Jan. 10, at Blue Holler in Reed Springs, MO.
