Velma L. Millburg, 91, of Auburn, died on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Virden.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Jan. 27, beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Auburn with the Rev. James Palakudy officiating. Burial will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in Raymond.
Mrs. Millburg was born March 15, 1930, in Hillsboro, to Pearley and Viola (Smith) Mondhink. She married Howard Millburg on Nov. 5, 1952, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2015.
She retired from Horace Mann Insurance.
Mrs. Millburg was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Auburn, as well as the Altar Society.
She is survived by her sons, Chris, Phil (Linda), Mark, Jeff (Carroll) and Stan; two daughters, Sharlene Moore and Cindy (Chuck) DuBois; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Ida Mae Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Millburg was preceded in death by her brother, Pearley Mondhink, Jr.; and grandson, Austin DuBois.
