Two Arrested On Meth Charges In Nokomis

Two Fayette County men face drug charges after they were arrested on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 5, at a Nokomis gas station.

Brian K. Sisk, 45, of Ramsey, and Brian V. Carter, 45, of Bingham, were arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine between 100 and 400 grams, and delivery of meth between 100 and 400 grams.

According to Chief Bill Kenny, a Nokomis police officer on routine patrol saw Sisk, who he knew as wanted on two warrants, at a Nokomis gas station at about 2:26 p.m. Saturday.  The officer made contact with both Sisk and Carter, and after getting permission to search the vehicle, seized two bags of white crystal substance which tested positive for meth, along with cash and other items.

Sisk and Carter were taken to Montgomery County Jail under $150,000 bond, and the alleged meth was sent to the Illinois State Police crime lab for analysis.
