Twila (Gunn) Everett, 85, of Plainfield, died on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, at Accent Care in Naperville.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will begin at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.  Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ms. Everett was born on July 16, 1937, in Witt, to Earl Francis Gunn and Lura Frances (Smith) Gunn. She married Robert Corazza in 1958, they divorced in 1968. In 1975 she married Frank Everett and they divorced in 1989.

Ms. Everett was a high school graduate. She had worked at the circuit clerk’s office, Tunes Tavern and Demoulin until retirement in 1999. She loved spending time with family and friends, camping, cooking and baking, and the Chicago Cubs. Ms. Everett lived in Hillsboro all her life until 1999, when she moved in with her daughter Julie and family in Plainfield where she then had new neighbors and friends to love her too.

Ms. Everett is survived by her children, Julie (Corazza) (husband Michael) Krivich of Plainfield, Matthew (wife Charlotte Cis) Everett, of Raymond and Nicole Everett Fly of Hopkinsville, KY; grandchildren, Kevin Lee Corazza II, Tyler Krivich, Alexandria Krivich, Sheron Everett, Destinee Everett, Brock Reinacher and Dakota Reinacher; great-grandchildren, Jacob Corazza, Kody Corazza, Braeden Reinacher and Braelynn Reinacher; brother, Bruce (wife Cassie) Gunn of Hillsboro;  daughter-in-law, Denise Sweet of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin Corazza in 2015; and brothers and sisters-in-law, H. Maynard Gunn and wife Mickey Gunn, Merlyn E. Gunn and wife Dorothy Gunn, Clyde E. Gunn and Myron D. Gunn in infancy.
