Thomas Scott Erwin, 59, of Shipman, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, at 8:09 a.m. at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Shipman Cemetery. The family recommends that friends wear a mask.
Mr. Erwin was born March 1, 1962, in Litchfield, to the late O.E. and Sarah (Lovell) Erwin.
A truck driver for ACT Trucking in Indiana, he enjoyed family camping and boating trips, as well as spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs.
He is survived by two sons, Randy Erwin of Godfrey and Craig (Kiersten Gibson) Erwin of Litchfield; three grandchildren, Rilyn, Kynlee and Kasen; two sisters, Janet (Bill) Nunley and Linda Dunham; two brothers, Robert (Barb) Erwin and Tim Erwin; and sister-in-law, Robbie Erwin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Randy and Mike Erwin.
Memorials may be made to 5 A’s.
