Thomas Neil Pollock, Sr., 71, of Litchfield, died at 10:33 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at his residence.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Memorial services will begin at 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tim Barbee, of the Christian Church of Litchfield, officiating. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Pollock was born on Jan. 2, 1952, in Port Angeles, WA, a son of Donald Stanley and Grace Marion (Hogg) Pollock. He married Grace Elizabeth “Beth” Shamer on Dec. 6, 1969, in Tacoma, WA, and she survives.
Mr. Pollock proudly served his country in the United States Army, as a door gunner, helicopter pilot and mechanic before retiring as a Master Sergeant. He enjoyed fishing and watching sports.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Pollock is survived by his sons, Thomas N. Pollock, Jr., of Litchfield and Donald (Chrissy) Pollock of Alton; daughter, Kimberly A. (Jeanie Ziglar) Pernicka of Staunton; ten grandchildren, Ashli (Jack) Brockus, Satora (Christian) Jett, Kyrah Pernicka, Sarah Pernicka, Michael Pernicka, Kayleigh Pollock, Peyton Pollock, Cassie Scroggins, Carla Burdel and Carlie Ballard; three great-grandchildren, Kuliah Jett, Havana Herron and Ira Jett; one brother, Joe (Carol) Pollock of Bellingham, WA; and two sisters, Jeannie Davis of Port Angeles, WA, and Donna Nordhaug of Tacoma, WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Loretta Pollock.
