Steven Richard Osterman, 67, of Mt. Olive, died on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at 6:06 p.m. at his home.
Funeral services will be planned for a later date. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family.
Mr. Osterman was born Dec. 31, 1955, in Chicago, to Albert J. and Mary J. (Preble) Osterman, Jr. He married Shelly Korunka on Nov. 5, 1977, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 27, 2001. He later married Dena Dey, and they later divorced.
He graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1973. During his career, Mr. Osterman worked for Adenca Medical Cabinet Company as a cabinet maker. He was currently employed in the warehouse by Market Basket in Edwardsville. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and hanging out with his friends.
Mr. Osterman is survived by his three daughters, Tricia (Ryan) Campbell of Erin, TN, Christa Stagner of Ballwin, MO, and Amy (Bill) Seiber of Effingham; two sisters, Kathy (Stan) Catavu of Elgin and Leandra Matson of Battle Ground, WA; four grandsons, Nathan Keeton, Mitchell Stevenson, Joey Seiber and Will Seiber; and three nephews, Travis Schwab, Lee Catavu and Chris Catavu.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Debra K. Owens.
