Silent Auction, Lancer Loot Benefits TEAM Playday

Posted

A full field of golfers is expected for the annual TEAM  Golf Playday benefitting Lincolnwood and Morrisonville athletics on Aug. 28, but there are plenty of ways for the public to support the event without ever swinging a club.

In addition to the golf tournament at Shoal Creek Golf Course, which also features a pork chop dinner and pork patties throughout the day for the a.m. and p.m. groups, there are also plenty of drawings and silent auction items to check out.

Items are still being added to the silent auction list, but some donations include a one-night stay and two rounds of golf at Oak Terrace Resort in Pana; four tickets in section 137 for the St. Louis Cardinal game on Sept. 11 (donated by Rovey Seed Co.); a golf bag (donated by Ronchetti Distributing); a “Grace” T-shirt blanket (donated by Sandy Webb); a two-hour rental from CJ’s Party Bus (donated by Rhett Rossi); two St. Louis Cardinals and two St. Louis Blues signs (donated by Nimmo Welding); a charcuterie board (donated by Wilderness Design Company, Sam Terneus and the Dan Rossi family); a wooden flag (donated by Wilderness Design Company, Sam Terneus and the Travis Hobson family) and two large gift baskets donated by Riemann Honey and Hemp.

Lancer Loot tickets will also be on sale at the event and through Lincolnwood athletes until the final drawing in December.

Anyone interested in purchasing a Lancer Loot ticket or bidding on an item should come out to Shoal Creek Golf Course any time before 6 p.m. Aug. 28. You may also enter a sealed bid by texting or calling Dana Pitchford at 217-494-4524 or Josh Stone at 217-246-4220.
