Shirley Jean O’Bryant, 91, of Hillsboro, formerly of Havana, died at 4 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at the Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsboro

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, with Rev. Sue Roat officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is assisting the family with arrangements. In accordance with current COVID-19 guidelines, masks will be worn inside the funeral home at all times, and the funeral service will be limited to a maximum of fifty people.

Mrs. O’Bryant was born on May 20, 1929, in Pekin, to Clinton and Dora (King) Marshall. She married Clinton O’Bryant on July 21, 1955, at Maples Mills, and he preceded her in death in 2010. She was a member of the Havana Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. O’Bryant is survived by five children, Cheryl (Ron) Roat, Jerry O’Bryant, Jack (Jan) O’Bryant, Jean (Scott) Snow, Jane (Mike) Smith; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Karen Shaw; son, Alan O’Bryant, as well as two grandsons, Curtis O’Bryant and Christopher White.
