Scott M. Belt, 47, of Farmersville, formerly of Divernon, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021 at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sept. 18, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Community Building at 114 E. Sycamore, in Thayer. The Bramley Funeral Home is assisting the family.
He was born June 21, 1974 in Saratoga Springs, NY, the son of Michael and Rose Mary Copelin Belt. He was married to Brea Collins and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, granddaughter, Alivia and nephew, Brandon McGill.
Mr. Belt loved his kids, fishing, working with his hands and also on cars.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Terri (Cody) Rabich and Elizabeth Belt; grandson, Joseph; father and step-mother, Mike (Sharon) Belt; sister, Pam (Todd) McGill; as well as several nieces and nephews.
