Sandra Sue Park, 78, of Loami, died Monday, March 8, 2021, at 6:59 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 13, at 2 p.m. in Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Loami with Pastor Donald Peck officiating.
Mrs. Park was born July 23, 1942, in Springfield, the daughter of Frank and Ina (Richardson) Wables. She married Allen L. Park on Feb. 6, 1960, in Wachula, FL, and he survives.
She grew up in Springfield and attended Springfield High School. She was a resident of Loami for the past 61 years. Over the years, she was involved with 4-H and LincolnFest. She enjoyed reading, learning about history, playing golf and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Angela L. (husband Ed) Shoup of Springfield; four grandchildren, Clinton Park of Loami, Jarrod and Eric Shoup of Auburn and Lakken (fiance Kody Nimmo) Park of Farmersville; siblings, Frank (wife Deb) Wables of Athens and Kathy (husband Jim) Umbaugh of Indianapolis, IN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Erion L. Park.
