Samuel Allan Moore, Sr., 82, of Port Charlotte, FL, died on July 14, 2021, after a year long battle with multiple health issues.
A memorial service will be held virtually on zoom.com, starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 31. The family invites all to attend and reflect on Mr. Moore’s life.
Mr. Moore was born on Sept. 23, 1938, in Coffeen, to Samuel Wayne Moore and Noi Flo (Moreland) Moore. Mr. Moore met and married the love of his life, Nellie Eileen Fenton, on Sept. 23, 1956. Mr. Moore spent most of his early life in Coffeen and Hillsboro. A large portion of that time was spent in the woods hunting and fishing. He was an avid outdoorsman his whole life.

He also was a very spiritual man, joining the Hillsboro congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in June of 1973, then joining the Town Center congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Port Charlotte, FL in 2002. His family knew him as a devoted husband, father and grandfather; they will miss his contagious smile.
