Rosemary Voyles, 94, of Hillsboro, died at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan, 15, at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will begin at noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Stefan Munker, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Hillsboro and Rick Britton officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Voyles was born on June 2, 1927, in Hillsboro, to Jesse F. and Gladys M. (Gillespie) Bondurant. She married Reynolds G. Voyles on Sept. 6, 1947, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. He preceded in death on Dec. 23, 2012. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and later worked at Dunn’s Insurance Agency in Hillsboro. Mrs. Voyles was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.

Mrs. Voyles is survived by her children, Chris Conway (companion Bill Hammon) of Joliet and Brad (wife Maura) Voyles of Watson; and grandchildren, Chad Conway of Joliet, Dr. Jacob Voyles of McLeansboro and Cameron Voyles of Mattoon; and great-grandchildren, Braeden Conway and Liam Voyles.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Sue Ellen Voyles; grandchild, Carson Voyles; great-grandchild, Landon Ren Voyles; and brother, Wayne Bondurant.
