Ronald Hollis, 74, of Carlinville, died on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at his home.
Private services were held. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Hollis was born on Feb. 4, 1947, in Litchfield, to Nicholas Hollis and Bessie “Sue” (Davis) Hollis. He was retired after having been a mental health tech for the State of Illinois. Mr. Hollis was a veteran of the US Army after having served during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the VFW.
Mr. Hollis is survived by his daughter, Leigh Hollis of Carlinville; sister, Nancy Carter of Springfield; two nieces; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Todd Brian Hollis; and brothers, Thomas Hollis and Nicholas Hollis.
