Robert ‘Bob’ Pincsak, 77, of Panama, died on Jan. 2, 2025, at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family has entrusted Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home in Sorento with the ceremony.

Mr. Pincsak was born on April 2,1947, in Chicago, the son of Eugene John and Cecelia (Schemitzek) Pincsak. He first married Beverly Smith and she preceded him on Oct. 22, 2017. He then married Sandra Parker and they later divorced. She survives.

Mr. Pincsak grew up in Chicago and graduated from Gordon Tech High School. In his young adult years, he moved to Donnellson. He worked a wide variety of jobs, one of which was the munitions factory between Greenville and Donnellson, before retiring.

Mr. Pincsak enjoyed a good joke, was known to be a prankster, and was fun loving. Spending time at the Greenville Senior Center talking and laughing with his friends was breezy and entertaining. He liked classic cars and attended classic car shows. Classic rock was his music of choice and old western television shows were a staple. Until health issues prohibited him from going to church, Mr. Pincsak attended the First Christian Church in Greenville.

Mr. Pincsak was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Cecelia; wife, Beverly (Smith) Pincsak; and grandson, Dylan Pincsak.

He is survived by his son, Stephen Pincsak of St. Louis, MO; granddaughter, Lauren Pincsak of St. Louis, MO; brother, Eugene Pincsak of Rensselaer, IN; and niece, Tracy Pincsak-Zitzka of Rensselaer, IN.

The family asks that memorials be gifted and mailed to The First Christian Church, 1100 Killarney Drive, Greenville, IL 62246, in lieu of plants, gifts, and flowers. Please visit www.assalleyfuneralhomes.com to share memories or offer condolences to the family.
