Robert “Bob” E. Miller, 68, of Auburn died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021 at his home.
Services were held Wednesday with Pastor Marty Nagel officiating. Burial was at Camp Butler National Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Inter Veterans of Sangamon County. Bramley Funeral Home assisted the family.
He was born March 2, 1953 in Chula Vista, CA, the son of William and Mary Talkington Miller. He married Paulette Buch on Sept. 3, 1993, and she survives. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David Miller.
Bob served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved to fish and spend time with his family.
Surviving with his wife, Paulette, are four children, Jason Buch of Farmersville, Alycia (Mike) Gillock of Nokomis, Andrea Buch (Erich Lichtenberger) of Rochester, and Bill (Margi) Peters of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Drake, Andrew, Ian, Layken, Bryce and Adalyn; siblings Beverly Lucas and Bill Miller; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Auburn Rescue Squad or the Ryken Bailey Foundation.
