Robert Davidson, 46, of Coffeen, died in his home on Jan. 12, 2022, after suffering from a combination of type 1 diabetes, COPD and congestive heart failure.

A memorial dinner will be held in his honor at a later date. Metroeast Mortuary is in charge of the cremation services.

Mr. Davidson was the eldest of twin sons born to Deborah (Raymer) and Dave Haslett on Aug. 26, 1975, in Belleville.

After growing up in Colyell, LA, he relocated to Collinsville and then the Sorento area where he met and married Elizabeth (Danielle) Taylor and fathered three children.

When he was not spending time with his beloved family, friends and pets, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being a paw paw to his four grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Davidson is survived by his three children, Emily Ginger of Pana, Daniel Davidson and Harley Davidson of Coffeen; four grandchildren Coraline, Alice, Danilynn and Havik Ginger of Pana; one sister Shawna Raymer of Collinsville, nephews Nick Raymer of Sorento, Jerry Lee Gilliam of Collinsville and James Gilliam of Collinsville; nieces Allyson Davidson of Gillespie, Bailey Davidson of Witt, Mika-Jae Davidson of Blacksburg, SC and Janie-Mae Davidson of Blacksburg, SC, as well as six great nieces and nephews; his grandmother Verla Rogers along with several uncles.

Mr. Davidson was preceeded in death by his twin brother, George Davidson, niece Cheyenne Davidson, nephew Timothy Davidson and great-grandmother Mary Jane Raymer and two uncles.
